About
Robert Nikic serves as Advisory Council Chair at Reseated Councils, where his advisory work focuses on innovation, economic growth, and removing barriers for small businesses in support of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals 8 and 9.
Robert is an entrepreneur, author and TEDx speaker. From 2011 to 2026 he built a company that was twice named to the Inc. 5000 list of America’s fastest-growing private companies, ranking No. 418 in 2023 and No. 35 in 2024, before stepping away from operating roles to focus on advisory work. Alongside that company he built a real-estate portfolio from 2010 and invested in private ventures.
He is the author of Problems Pay, a six-move method for turning problems into payments. The book’s argument runs through his work at Reseated: the problems that close good businesses — a payout held without a reason, an invoice paid ninety days late, a permit that arrives after the season — are specific, recurring and fixable, and the people able to fix them can be named.
His role at Reseated Councils
As Advisory Council Chair, Robert convenes the chairs of Reseated’s seven councils — Platform, Cashflow, Fair Play, Trade, Resilience, Red Tape and Team — to compare what members are reporting across 49 countries and to advise on which problems are ready for a fix. He presides at the Assembly’s monthly Open Tables, held in two sittings so that members in Asia-Pacific, Europe, Africa and the Americas can take part, and he signs the Assembly’s letters transmitting adopted standards to the chief executives who hold a reserved seat.
The Advisory Council advises; it does not govern. Every fix is drafted by a council, tested against the five-part pattern test, opened for public consultation and adopted only by a ballot of members. Robert’s role is to keep that process moving, consistent and credible across all seven councils.

- The 15-Day Pay Standard (CF-001). Supported through consultation into the Assembly ballot that opened on 26 October 2026.
