Fraud recall request to your bank

Use this template to ask your bank to act urgently after a suspected business payment scam: try to stop or recover the funds, contact the receiving bank, and record your case. Send it through a channel your bank confirms is genuine, and do not wait for the template if a payment has just been made.

Fraud recall request to your bank

Use this tool when: your business has sent money after a suspected invoice scam, business email compromise (BEC), impersonation, or other payment fraud. It is also suitable if you are unsure whether the payment was fraudulent but have a credible reason to act quickly.

Important: contact your bank immediately using its official app, website, card, or a phone number you already trust. Do not use contact details in a suspicious message. A recall request cannot guarantee that money will be recovered. Your bank may need to verify your identity and may ask for supporting information. Do not include passwords, one-time codes, full card details, or online banking credentials in this request.
