Wattle & Wake is a small-batch soap maker in Geelong, supplying gift shops and weekend markets. It signed Paid in 15 after a local oils supplier explained that late payment could push its own ingredient purchases into the next billing cycle. The soap maker previously paid invoices in a monthly run, even when a delivery had been checked weeks earlier. It now approves correct invoices within three business days and schedules payment twice a week, with a named contact for questions. In the first four months, 31 of 33 eligible small-supplier invoices were paid within 15 days, and the other two were paid on days 16 and 18 after quantity checks. The owner has also started giving suppliers a rolling six-week estimate for larger seasonal batches. That forecast helped one packaging supplier plan a production slot without an urgent surcharge. Founder Hannah McLeod says the pledge made payment timing a shared operational promise instead of an assumption. Wattle & Wake checks the figures at each quarterly stock review.
