Elpida Markou started this small ceramics workshop with her sister, making tableware for neighborhood cafés and independent shops. They took the Paid in 15 pledge after several slow-paying wholesale invoices left them postponing clay orders and paying their two assistants late. The pledge gave them a clear date to discuss with buyers and a practical reason to keep invoice paperwork simple. Since joining, they have moved 11 of 14 regular business customers to payment within 15 days, and average payment time has fallen from 34 days to 13. That change freed enough cash to buy a larger kiln without taking a short-term loan. Elpida says the workshop still offers flexible terms when a tiny shop needs them, but now both sides agree on a date upfront. Their next goal is to extend the same predictable payment practice to the local packaging supplier they recently began using.
