Taller Nube de Cedro is a Heredia woodcraft studio making custom stools, shelves, and small-batch home goods. Founder Lucía Vargas chose No Surprise Fees because customers ordering bespoke pieces often needed to compare a quote with a household or project budget. The studio previously explained delivery and finishing costs in separate conversations, leaving room for confusion about the final figure. Lucía introduced a single estimate that lists materials, labor, finish, and delivery, with a clear note that no unapproved charge will be added. Changes to dimensions are priced and accepted before work continues. Over its first ten weeks using the format, the studio sent 18 estimates and completed 13 orders; all 13 final bills matched the customer-approved totals. One client changed the finish after receiving a revised written price. Lucía says this has made conversations about design choices easier, since clients can see how each option affects the total before a piece enters production.
