Taller Lumbre del Río is a Granada ceramics workshop with a small studio team and a handful of independent clay and packaging suppliers. Its founder, Lucía Martín, took the Paid in 15 pledge after a local clay supplier explained that long payment waits made it difficult to plan seasonal orders. The workshop now schedules supplier invoices for payment within fifteen days, rather than letting them sit until the end of a monthly cycle. That change encouraged the team to place smaller, more frequent orders and gave suppliers a clearer view of when funds would arrive. In its first six months under the pledge, the workshop paid 28 supplier invoices within the promised window and reduced its average payment time from 34 days to 12. Lucía says the policy has made reliable local sourcing feel practical, not merely aspirational, while keeping the studio’s own cash planning visible.
