Söta Spåret is a small confectionery in Uppsala producing seasonal sweets for cafés and neighborhood events. It took Paid in 15 after its cocoa, berry, and carton suppliers explained that unpredictable payment dates made it harder to reserve ingredients during busy periods. The business had been paying invoices when cash was available, with no shared schedule. It now confirms each invoice on receipt, flags discrepancies within two working days, and pays approved small-supplier invoices in weekly batches. In the first quarter after signing, 16 of 17 eligible invoices were paid within 15 days; the remaining invoice was corrected with the supplier and paid on day 17. The confectionery has also started forecasting its event orders earlier, so suppliers receive clearer quantities instead of hurried changes. Owner Oskar Nyberg says the pledge brought discipline to a relationship that had relied too much on goodwill. Söta Spåret posts its payment calendar in the staff room and reviews it every month.
