Sikka Nūn is a Cairo boutique selling everyday clothing and accessories from a small group of independent makers. It took the No Surprise Fees pledge after customers asked whether listed prices included delivery within the city and whether gift packaging cost extra. The shop wanted staff to give the same clear answer in person, by phone, and online. It revised its order form so delivery zones and charges appear before the customer confirms, while gift packaging is marked as optional with its price shown beside it. Staff also received a short checklist for quoting orders consistently. Across 164 orders in the first four months, 157 matched the total communicated before confirmation; the remaining seven involved customer-requested changes that were confirmed before dispatch. Previously, the team recorded 21 calls in one month asking about extra costs. In the latest month, it recorded six. Sikka Nūn says the pledge is about informed choice: customers can still select paid services, but should not meet an unexplained fee at the end.
