Šicí Dvorek is a small sewing studio that makes aprons and repair kits for cafés, workshops, and independent retailers. Founder Jana Dvořáková joined Paid in 15 after late invoices from trade customers made it difficult to schedule fabric purchases and pay two freelance stitchers promptly. She now includes the 15-day expectation on quotes and invoices, confirms the customer’s billing contact when an order is accepted, and sends the invoice with the shipment. In the first five months, 8 of 10 recurring business customers paid within 15 days, and the studio’s average payment time fell from 32 days to 15. Jana used the more predictable cash flow to reserve fabric for a café uniform order without delaying payment to her local textile supplier. She says the policy works best when discussed kindly before a project begins. The studio continues to consider reasonable exceptions, but records any agreed change so neither side is surprised. Jana is now sharing its invoice template with a nearby repair cooperative.
