Rim Nam Sai Studio joined No Surprise Fees because customers buying its small-batch soaps online often asked whether delivery or packaging charges would appear later. The Chiang Mai business uses locally sourced herbs and sells through markets as well as its own checkout page. Its founders wanted the displayed price to be the amount a customer actually paid, without an unexpected handling line at the final step. They reviewed every checkout setting, moved delivery costs into clearly labeled choices, and added a short explanation beside gift packaging. In a two-month test, checkout questions about extra charges fell from 31 to 8, while completed orders rose by 12 percent. The team also made a simple price sheet for market stalls, matching the online totals. Founder Nicha Kittipong says the pledge helped them treat clarity as part of the product. They now check the checkout flow whenever a new delivery option is added.
