NsuomNam Foods is a family-run producer in Cape Coast that smokes and packs fish for neighborhood shops and cafés. It took the Paid in 15 pledge after learning that delayed payments to its fishers and packaging vendors could leave them short of money for the next market day. The business now confirms each delivery in writing and aims to settle approved invoices within fifteen days, rather than allowing them to sit until the end of a monthly cycle. During its first three months, 23 of 25 supplier invoices were paid within the pledge period; the other two were discussed with the suppliers and given specific payment dates. The change has encouraged the team to keep cleaner receiving records and to flag disagreements early. Its owner says the practical benefit is trust: fishers know when to expect payment, and the business can plan purchasing without relying on vague promises. NsuomNam Foods treats the pledge as a working routine, not a slogan.
