Nido Sur Taller makes shelves, worktables, and simple display furniture for small businesses in Concepción. Founder Ignacio Pérez signed the Hold the Door pledge because a local first-time maker once let him use a workshop tool and showed him how to price a job; he wants to pass that kind of help along. Each quarter, Nido Sur offers one new founder a practical session on quoting, choosing materials, and planning a first production run. The first participant, a maker of compact plant stands, worked through a sample cost sheet and identified packaging as a cost she had been overlooking. Ignacio says the pledge is not a promise of free manufacturing or sales, but a chance to share tools for making better decisions. The workshop has set aside two hours each quarter and keeps a short follow-up call available after the session. The founder later returned with a revised quote for review. Nido Sur considers that a useful outcome: clearer numbers and more confidence to approach customers.
