Nhyira Kitchen Works prepares spice blends and lunch trays for offices, small events, and neighborhood shops. Owner Abena Owusu joined Paid in 15 after late payments from a few larger catering clients made it difficult to plan purchases from market traders. She introduced a clear 15-day payment term for business orders, began sending invoices on the delivery day, and asks clients to confirm who handles accounts before an event is booked. Within five months, 10 of 13 repeat business customers were paying within 15 days, and the average wait for payment fell from 31 days to 15. Abena says the improvement meant she could pay her two regular vegetable suppliers on their agreed weekly day instead of asking them to wait. She has kept a small deposit option for unusually large events, explained in advance. The pledge has made her cash planning less uncertain, and she now checks payment timing alongside menu details when accepting corporate work.
