Nadwiślańska Spiżarnia is a specialty food shop in Toruń that assembles gift boxes from regional preserves, honey, and baked goods. Owner Piotr Lewandowski joined Paid in 15 after small producers told him that delayed wholesale payments made it difficult to plan harvest and production costs. He wanted the shop’s buying calendar to be fairer to suppliers whose businesses were much smaller than his own. The team now checks invoices every Monday and Thursday and records the payment date in its purchasing system. In the first three months, it paid 28 of 29 supplier invoices within 15 days; the remaining invoice was paid on day 16 after a corrected bank detail arrived late. Piotr says that communicating the planned payment date has made conversations with producers more straightforward. The shop has also begun ordering seasonal items earlier, giving four independent makers a clearer estimate of expected demand instead of relying on last-minute requests.
