Its online trade form uses the same approach, so buyers can compare options without contacting the team for a final figure. In the first 10 weeks, 42 trade orders were placed using the revised quote, and all were approved before any payment was requested. Follow-up messages asking why a total had changed dropped from nine to one; that case involved a customer adding products after approval. The team says the pledge has made budgeting easier for both sides and reduced time spent correcting misunderstandings.
