Mộc Mây is a Ho Chi Minh City workshop making small-batch home décor from wood, woven fibers, and reclaimed fabric. It joined First Order Terms to make trying a first order less difficult for independent craft suppliers who may need to purchase materials before delivering. Under the pledge, qualifying new suppliers receive net-30 terms on their first order, with the due date written clearly on the purchase confirmation. The workshop has also added a short onboarding conversation to explain specifications and avoid preventable rework. Its founders believe fair first terms can help a promising supplier demonstrate quality without having to finance the entire job upfront. In the first five months, Mộc Mây used the terms with six new suppliers, including two small weaving groups; all six first invoices were paid by their due dates. One supplier has since become a regular source for custom panels. The team says the pledge has broadened its options while giving new partners a straightforward, dependable start.
