Ljusgläntans Snickeri is a Malmö cabinetry workshop making fitted shelves and compact kitchen units. It signed the Paid in 15 pledge after smaller timber and finishing suppliers said unpredictable payment dates made it hard to plan their own purchases. The workshop now checks incoming invoices twice a week, records any disputed amount promptly, and targets payment within fifteen days for approved bills. In the first five months, 36 of 38 supplier invoices met the target; the two exceptions involved missing delivery documentation and were resolved with the vendors. The owners say a visible payment calendar has been as useful as the shorter deadline, because the team can spot a cash pinch before it becomes a supplier’s problem. It has also encouraged staff to confirm deliveries on the day they arrive. The workshop does not claim that every administrative issue has vanished, but it now communicates a clear expected date when something needs clarification. The pledge has strengthened working relationships with small suppliers and made the workshop’s own ordering schedule more disciplined.
