Lamiang Ani is a Cebu City maker of dried mango and pineapple snacks, working with neighborhood growers and a small packing team. Its founders took the Paid in 15 pledge after several growers said that waiting a month or more for payment made it difficult to buy sacks, fuel, and school supplies on time. The business now schedules supplier payments twice a week and checks invoices as soon as deliveries arrive. That change has made cash planning more predictable for both the growers and the packing crew. In its first quarter under the pledge, Lamiang Ani paid 18 small suppliers within 15 days, compared with an average of 27 days before. The team also began posting its payment timetable beside the receiving desk, so suppliers know when to expect settlement. The owners say the pledge made prompt payment a routine rather than a favor granted when cash happened to be available.
