Kopi Kecil Studio is a Singapore micro-roastery supplying coffee to neighborhood cafés and office pantries. The team joined Paid in 15 because its smallest packaging and label suppliers were often waiting longer than the larger vendors, even though those smaller firms were essential to keeping short production runs possible. The pledge gave the roastery a reason to make payment timing visible rather than treating it as back-office detail. It now records invoice receipt the same day, flags missing paperwork within two working days, and schedules approved bills for payment within 15 days. Over the first four months, it paid 27 of 29 small-supplier invoices on time, up from 16 of 28 in the previous four-month period. The owners also began sharing order forecasts earlier, helping one packaging supplier plan its print batches. Kopi Kecil says the pledge has not removed every cash-flow squeeze, but it has made expectations clearer for both sides.
