Kíri Keri is a Thessaloniki soap maker producing small batches for gift shops and neighborhood markets. It signed the First Order Terms pledge after new stockists said that paying before they had sold any products made trying an unfamiliar maker difficult. The business now offers net-30 terms on a first order to eligible independent retailers, with the due date written clearly on the invoice and a contact available for questions. In the first season, four shops placed trial orders under the terms; three reordered, and all four first invoices were settled within the agreed thirty days. The owner says the arrangement has helped both sides start with more confidence, while the written terms prevent assumptions about when payment is expected. Kíri Keri has set a modest order limit for first-time accounts and checks in before an invoice is due, rather than treating the terms as a substitute for communication. The pledge has made the maker’s wholesale offer more accessible without requiring shops to take a large initial risk.
