Kesar Dhaga Studio is a Jaipur textile business creating block-printed scarves and cushion covers with a small team of tailors. Founder Meera Sharma took the Paid in 15 pledge after recognizing that timely payments mattered especially to the independent dyers and stitchers who worked between larger production runs. Waiting for a monthly accounts cycle could leave these partners covering material costs themselves. Meera now logs each accepted invoice, confirms it within two working days, and schedules payment before the fifteenth day. In the first four months, 34 of 35 small-supplier invoices were paid within the pledge period; the delayed one was resolved on day 16 after an invoice discrepancy was corrected. The studio has also begun sharing expected payment dates when confirming work. Meera says the change has helped partners plan fabric purchases and has made production discussions more candid. For the studio, the main improvement is a predictable routine: supplier payments are reviewed alongside job progress, rather than pushed aside until a deadline becomes urgent.
