De Kas van Noor grows balcony plants and assembles small indoor garden kits for homes and neighborhood cafés in Rotterdam. Owner Noor Bakker took the No Surprise Fees pledge after customers found that delivery, pots, or soil sometimes appeared as separate charges late in the ordering process. The nursery now shows a complete price for each kit and makes delivery zones and any carrying fee visible before checkout. For custom planters, customers receive a written estimate covering the container, plants, assembly, and delivery, with approval required for changes. In the first four months, the nursery logged fourteen fewer billing questions than in the previous comparable period, and customers placed more orders directly through its website. Noor says the clearer totals have also helped staff suggest a smaller kit when a customer has a fixed budget, without making the conversation feel awkward. Seasonal prices still change with availability, but updates are dated and the confirmed price is honored for the stated order period.
