Dar Nawa Bakehouse makes pastries and boxed breakfasts for offices and family gatherings in Amman. Co-founder Rania Haddad took the Hold the Door pledge because she remembers how difficult it was to find practical guidance when she first began selling from a shared kitchen. Each quarter, Dar Nawa now offers one first-time founder a short mentoring session, a costing worksheet, and a visit to observe a production day. Its first participant was a home-based preserves maker who used the worksheet to price three products and prepare a simple wholesale offer. Rania says the commitment is deliberately modest: the bakery cannot promise investment or guaranteed customers, but it can share the lessons behind its own purchasing, food-safety routines, and delivery planning. The first session led to a follow-up meeting with a local shop, arranged by the participant herself. Dar Nawa plans to keep the sessions small so that advice stays specific and founders leave with one practical next step.
