Our story

Badae Sogeum Jageopso makes small batches of seasoned salt and pantry gifts for local shops and online customers. Owner Kim Seo-yeon joined No Surprise Fees because buyers were sometimes unsure whether a displayed price included packaging or delivery. The business redesigned its product pages to show the item price, delivery charge, and any gift-wrap option together before checkout. For wholesale buyers, every quotation now lists the total and separates optional services from required costs. Staff received a short checklist for confirming a delivery address and explaining the final amount before payment is requested. In the first five months, customer messages asking about extra charges fell from 31 per month to 12. The number of completed gift orders rose by 9 percent compared with the same period a year earlier. Kim says clear prices make a small producer feel more dependable, especially when customers are buying gifts from a distance. The team reviews the pages whenever shipping rates change.
