Atelierul Fir de Tei makes small runs of linen aprons and table goods for independent restaurants. Owner Ioana Mureșan took the Paid in 15 pledge after a late payment from a larger buyer forced her to delay wages and postpone a fabric order. The workshop now pays its small suppliers within fifteen days of receiving a correct invoice, and its own invoices carry the same clear payment expectation. Ioana introduced a weekly cash review and a simple shared calendar, so staff can see upcoming commitments without chasing her for updates. In the first six months, the workshop shortened its average supplier payment time from 32 days to 13. That improvement helped its local weaver reserve production capacity for the busy autumn season. The pledge did not remove every cash-flow challenge, but it made payment timing predictable and gave the team a practical standard to discuss with customers.
