Atelier Maanlicht began as a two-person textile repair studio, and its small team often had to wait weeks for larger customers to settle invoices. That made it difficult to pay independent dyers and sewing partners promptly, even when their work was finished. The owners took the Paid in 15 pledge to make their own purchasing habits match the reliability they wanted from clients. They now schedule supplier payments twice a week and ask partners to send simple, clearly dated invoices. The change has shortened the studio’s average payment time from thirty-one days to twelve. It also helped them keep a local mender available during a busy season rather than postponing work. Maanlicht has so far paid 18 supplier invoices within 15 days, with a target of keeping that record through the year. The owners say the pledge made cash-flow planning more deliberate, not merely faster.
