Atelier des Petits Bocaux makes small batches of vegetable spreads and fruit preserves for delicatessens and market stalls. Founder Camille Delvaux took the Paid in 15 pledge when a cluster of overdue invoices coincided with the autumn harvest, forcing the business to delay payments to growers. She began putting the pledge’s payment date directly on invoices and sending a short reminder a few days before it was due. The atelier now receives payment within 15 days from 9 of its 12 regular trade customers, compared with 4 before the change. Its average collection period dropped from 29 days to 14, and Camille used the steadier cash flow to pay two small growers on schedule during the latest plum season. She says the pledge helped make payment timing a normal business conversation rather than an awkward follow-up. The atelier is now testing the same invoice routine with its newest café accounts.
