Atelier Brume Claire is a Montréal ceramics studio that produces tableware for cafés and independent shops. It sources clay, glazes, and printed packaging from a handful of small suppliers, many of whom operate on tight seasonal cash flow. The studio signed Paid in 15 after learning that one local packaging supplier had been delaying equipment maintenance because customer invoices took too long to clear. The owners now approve complete invoices every Monday and Thursday and keep a modest reserve specifically for supplier payments. The process has reduced last-minute payment requests and helped the studio plan production more calmly. During its first three months, it paid 14 of 15 small suppliers within 15 days; the remaining invoice needed a corrected quantity and was settled two days after the correction. Previously, the average payment time was 32 days. The founders say the pledge is a practical way to respect the people whose materials make each finished piece possible.
