Atölye İnce İş makes small leather accessories and repairable bags in İzmir. Founder Deniz Aydın took the First Order Terms pledge because new retail partners often expected immediate payment, which made a first collaboration difficult to test for either side. The studio now offers eligible first-time buyers net-30 terms, with the due date written plainly on the order confirmation and invoice. To make the commitment manageable, staff check references, set a modest opening order limit, and reserve cash for materials before accepting a larger production run. In the first four months, three new retailers placed opening orders under the terms, totaling 146,000 lira, and all three paid within the agreed period. Aydın says the policy helped the studio secure a trial with a shop outside İzmir without discounting its work. The team reviews each first-order account after payment and adjusts future order limits based on the relationship and the buyer’s record.
