Our story

Anyam Lestari Karya makes rattan storage pieces and lampshades with a small network of independent artisans. It took No Surprise Fees because buyers outside Bandung sometimes found that packaging or delivery costs were added after they had selected a product. The business now confirms the complete amount, including protective packing and the chosen delivery method, before asking for payment. For custom orders, it sends a written estimate and waits for the customer’s approval before buying extra materials. Staff have also added a short explanation of how bulky-item shipping is calculated, making the policy easier to understand without a phone call. In the first two months, 41 orders followed the new process, and all customers approved their final totals before dispatch. Three customers chose a slower, lower-cost delivery option after seeing the comparison. The owner says transparent pricing helped buyers make informed choices while giving the artisan team a more reliable production schedule.
