Version 1.0. Effective Date: the date shown at the top of this page. Operator: Reseated Councils, Inc., a Delaware nonprofit nonstock corporation. This test is referred to in the Pledge Terms and Mark Rules, section 4.4. Schedule D applies.
1. What Champion means
Champion is a Pledge Status. It is not a rating of a business’s products or overall conduct, and it is not a certification or endorsement.
2. The test
A Pledged Business qualifies for Champion only when both limbs are met and recorded in a Champion Review approved by two different reviewers:
- Twelve months Verified. The business has held the Verified Status on every Pledge Standard it has adopted for 12 consecutive months, with no lapse, withdrawal or “Commitment reported not met” record in that period.
- One confirmed referral. In the same 12 months, at least one other business took a pledge and named this business as the one that helped it, and that other business confirmed the referral in writing or through its own signed-in account.
3. Review and lapse
Reseated reviews Champion Status every 12 months. It lapses to Verified when either limb is no longer met. A business may ask for a review of a decision under the Pledge Terms and Mark Rules, section 8.
4. Publication
A business named as a Champion in a council’s quarterly report is named only with that Status and its date, in the neutral form set by the Record and Publication Policy, section 6.4.
