Our story

<p>Morrow & Moss Repair restores used furniture and sells reclaimed pieces through an online catalogue. Customers sometimes found that an advertised price did not include a mandatory handling charge for bulky deliveries, which made the final total feel like a surprise. The owners joined No Surprise Fees and changed listings to show the full price for standard delivery zones, with a clear postal-code check for locations that cost more. They also separated optional assembly from required transport charges. In the first 12 weeks after the update, customer questions about delivery fees fell from 21 to 8, and the shop recorded 11 completed orders using the new quote tool. The team says it now spends more time checking delivery assumptions before publishing a listing, but fewer orders need a last-minute adjustment. The pledge has also prompted staff to explain any unavoidable variable charge before a customer confirms an order. Morrow & Moss plans to review its delivery map every season.</p>
